The Bell Jar Society is organised by writer Christiana Spens and artist Rosemary Cronin to bring together people in the area of North London that Sylvia Plath once lived in, to discuss her life, work, and the impact it continues to have. We will begin by marking the anniversary of Plath's death and then proceed to talk about her writing, the life events that inspired her work, and the ways in which she so powerfully articulated challenging and at times mysterious emotional states. We hope to provide a supportive and creative space through sharing Plath's work and our own feelings towards it.
Free but donations welcome.
