Ever wanted to play with writing and responding to it? Join in on this workshop that explores the world of action poetry, looking at some examples of works that ask questions and invite you to experience writing as a responsive and interactive thing.
During this session we will look at a variety of action poetry, respond and then have a go at creating our own.
All levels of entry welcomed, and materials provided but please bring a notebook if you want.

Elspeth Walker is a writer and language artist, currently studying her MA Writing at the Royal College of Art in London. In between developing her practice, she works at the National Poetry Library and Lavender Arts School, whilst being part of Liquid Gold Studios Collective, and trustee at The Photographers Gallery. She mostly writes creative/non-academic essays, as well as experimenting with the relationship between writing and materials.
