An evening of poetry and music
Jonathan Skinner is a poet, field recordist, editor, and critic, best known for founding the journal ecopoetics. His poetry collections and chapbooks include Chip Calls (Little Red Leaves, 2014), Birds of Tifft (BlazeVOX, 2011), Warblers (Albion Books, 2010), and Political Cactus Poems (Palm Press, 2005). He has published numerous essays at the intersection of poetry, ecology, activism, landscape and sound studies. Skinner teaches in the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies at the University of Warwick.
Though his roots are in Santa Fe, NM, Christopher Watson spent his first years in Mexico City. He studied classics at graduate and post-graduate levels, before living between Barcelona and London. Christopher completed his MFA in creative writing at Middlesex University (UK). He has published in the Malpais Review, Magma Poetry, Cagibi and Dark Mountain (among others); and is a volunteer translator for Santa Fe Dreamers Project.
Morgan Watson is London-based composer, producer, and violinist currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music. How work has been presented at Café OTO (with 87 Press), Chatter in Santa Fe, and most recently performed live at the National Gallery.
