In past Fun Palaces we built time machines, recited poetry from ladders, watched robots roam, listened to Iraqi love songs, and explored the origins of the universe. We celebrated the art and science of the Russian Revolution, engaged in long conversations, and let our spirits soar.
This year, we invite everyone to join once more. We predict there will be a Chinese tea ceremony; the participants in a Co-operative Poetry Competition; playing with computerised tactile sound threads; folk music; Mandarin poetry; 'Cedric Price and anarchist architecture' a lecture; maths and music; Shakespeare sonnets ... Whether you bring an experiment, a poem, a biscuit, or just yourself, celebrate the culture within and help build another unforgettable Fun Palace.
