Printmaking and image making in a narrative tradition by Amanda Lebus and Emily Johns.
These multidisiplinary artists whose work spans puppetry, posters, poetry, politics, playfulness, pottery, publications... last exhibited together at Torriano Meeting House in 1986. This exhibition is an opportunity for their images to talk to each other across time.
Open: Sunday 11 August 3-6pm; 14,15,16,17 August 2-5pm
20th August and 21st August 2-6pm: Inky Converse-ations / Con-verse-ations. On these two afternoons we will both be in the gallery with brush and pen and paper, responding to each others work with inky improvisations.
Saturday 31st August 3-6pm: Closing tea and puppet-tea when we shall share some shadow puppetry.
