An exhibition of sculpture and paintings by Susanna Jacobs
Opening and book launch at 4 to 7pm, Saturday 2nd May.
The exhibition will be open from 3pm til 6pm on Sunday 10th, 17th, and 24th of May 2026, and by appointment. It can also be seen while attending other events at the Meeting House.
Susanna Jacobs works in drawing, painting, print, animation, and sculpture. This show brings together her most recent ceramic sculptures with related paintings. The paintings feature images of flowers, stars, beams of light, and densely materialistic heads, while in the hand-built ceramic sculptures the heads and figures emerge as theatrical and humorous. Altogether, the work plays out a series of dialogues between matter and spirit; seeking the spirit which keeps the clay company.
