An exhibition of work by Hannah Machover and poetry pamphlet lauch
‘Augury’ is the Greco-Roman practice of reading omens into the movements and sounds of birds - and this is me nesting into Torriano, understanding my own drawings and objects as a kind of search for hidden meaning, with shadows of birds ever at the periphery (or taking centre stage).
‘I think it is a bird’ - a pamphlet of poems co-edited with @graceconnollylinden , featuring poems from both of us alongside the wonderful @legrandmechantreynard , @seemsvague , Kate Evans, @aisha_isnt and Vicky Sparrow.The pamphlet also takes the practice of ‘Augury’ as its prompt, with writings from an array of wonderful poets. I’m very excited to share it all.
